JOB REQUIREMENTS
-
Earned Phd in Nursing from an accredited University. Masters in Midwifery and Reproductive health Nursing (or Maternal and Neonatal Nursing) in addition to BSc Nursing from an accredited university.

A minimum of five (5) years post-PhD experience in teaching at university level or in research/industry.

Evidence of engagement in continuing research.

Valid Practising License from the Nursing Council of Kenya

Evidence of having supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students to completion since last promotion.

Possess a minimum of thirty two (32) publication, twenty four (24) of which must be from refreed journals points as a Senior Lecturer, with at least 32 referred scholarly journals.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Skills Lab Management experience

Strong commitment to mentoring students and faculty in research methodologies
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducting high quality research to enhance the scholarship, visibility and intellectual contribution of the University.

Engaging in curriculum and program review and development.

Evaluating students through continuous assessments and examinations.

Implementing best practices in teaching, training and research for improved performance and achievements.

Implementing change initiatives to achieve desired university strategic goals

Mentoring of students in academic and spritual nurture.

Mobilizing resources and building bridges with industry.

Supervise graduate students in their research projects and dissertations.

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
